A early morning dog photo session in the lovely Cotswolds. I love a crisp and frost morning to photography dogs. The beautiful warm sun rising against the cold frost and the dogs warm breath as they enjoy freedom to run around creates a truley stunning setting. I used my new Canon 5d Mark 4 (which I am loving) with a 70-200 2.8 lens to ensure fast enough shutter speed and enough light. Dogs a re so unpredictable you can never guess their movements and speed! I really enjoy capturing dogs just enjoying life and having fun – although this isnt always the easiest to capture!
My session was with a stunning Golden retriever called Ted, he is the ultimate cuddly dog and huge but a real gentle giant. He has such a think and warm coat, he really enjoyed rolling around in the frost and charging around at a high speed.
