Recently I was invited to work with Bloxham PR and Foxdenton Gin to photograph their distillery. Foxdenton Gin is a small family business, run by Nick and Piers Radclyffe, which produces an array of delicious tasting gins. My personal favourites are the Golden Apricot and Damson Gin. I was lucky to have an insight into how the gin is produced using natural traditional english flavours, the smells coming from the huge vats are exquisite.
Foxdenton supply many estates and country houses around the UK and produce a variety of peg flask sets and peg finders including the one below – great fun and something a bit different for a shoot day.
Have you seen the Foxdenton Gin Goliath – could it possibly be the world’s largest bottle of sloe gin? A massive 4.5 litre bottle – now there’s a challenge!
Finally for a cocktail to get you excited about the weekend
Damson In Distress Cocktail
50ml Foxdenton Damson Gin
15ml Amaretto Liqueur
7.5ml Fresh Lemon juice
Just shake and serve with a ice and slice – simply delicious.
